Chapter 67 Statistical & Practical Significance

Statistical significance and practical significance provide unique types of information about an inferential statistical finding. Whereas statistical significance helps us understand uncertainty around whether a particular effect (e.g., difference, association) exists, practical significance provides us with an indication of the size of an effect. In the video that follows, I introduce the concepts of statistical and practical significance.
